I love a ribbon.  It doesn't matter whether it is trailing, tied or simply wound round a gathered bouquet.  A carefully chosen ribbon can enhance any bouquet or buttonhole.

I have a range of favourite suppliers that I use. For ribbons embellished with tiny pearls or sequins  I go to the queen of ribbon shops,  VV Rouleaux in London.  Two floors of the most beautiful braids, ribbons and feathers.  I could spend hours (and a lot of money) in there. Definitely worth a visit if you are near Marylebone.

Over the past year I have been using more and more trailing silk ribbons in my work.  I work with a local textile artist who has dyed me some gorgeous dusky pink and peach silk ribbons.  I also use Pom Pom Blossom who hand dyes all her beautiful silk ribbons.
