Chris and Emma's flower story

Emma and Chris were wonderful clients and came to me with some very clear ideas.  They wanted pastel colours and skulls.  Emma had four bridesmaids and each one of them had chosen a different pastel colour to wear and this colours was to be echoed in the flowers they carried. Emma's bouquet was to be a large round bouquet, with a mix of all her bridesmaid's pastel colours.

As for the skulls, well Emma has always loved skulls and wanted them incorporated into her wedding. She had found some tiny pastel skull hatpins and we decided to put them in her bouquet and Chris's buttonhole.  Each centrepiece was also to feature a large candle skull and pastel mason jars full of flowers.

They wanted their flowers to be be loose, natural, pretty and just like a summer garden.  To achieve this we used delphiniums, stock, hypericum, hydrangea, astilbe, dahlias, some mini succulents and plenty of skulls!
